CHARACTER TRAITS / PERSONALITY:
Steve is your typical businessman, works 9-5 everyday except weekends. Always smartly dressed due to his job. Steve is an idealist who likes the idea of a nuclear family. Steve believes that his way of achieving this is the only way possible. Steve has a disturbed outlook on life, which leads him to show his sadistic side within the narrative. However strong his character may appear, his wife typically still leads him. He is only ever referred to as Dad by his ‘Children’, showing that for some sinister reason, they are not allowed to know his name. Steve comes across as menacing and aggressive towards his ‘Children’, however this is shown to be only at the command of his wife. He strives most to get his own way and keep every situation under control by any means necessary. Steve seems to want to be a “real” or “good” father, but the extent of his actions has driven him to be blinded by what he and his wife are doing. He obviously loves his wife and will do anything she commands to keep her happy; however he may also be slightly scared of her as he sometimes does her bidding without her even having to ask. Whilst being physically strong, Steve often comes across as mentally weak or unstable. Steve is tall and of an average build with short black hair. He sometimes appears quite menacing because of his stature compared to his ‘Children’. Steve is quite a delusional character, believing that his ‘family’ is perfect.
